Hivemind Entertainment is het bedrijf achter de televisieserie The Expance en de aankomende The Witcher productie. Hun nieuwste project kent eveneens zijn oorsprong in de game-industrie, ze werken namelijk samen met Sony Pictures Television voor een serie rondom Final Fantasy XIV.
De live-action serie draait om een origineel verhaal binnen de wereld van Eorzea, afkomstig uit de online RPG. Voor verdere details zullen we nog wat geduld op moeten brengen, wel laat Hivemind mede-oprichter Jason Brown weten:
