Ontwikkelaar Ground Shatter Ltd. is een vierkoppige indie studio die heeft aangekondigd met Rico te komen. Het betreft een first-person shooter, geďnspireerd door buddy-coöp films als Bad Boys en games als Virtua Cop, FEAR, Superhot en de Quake mod Action Quake. In de game speel je als een 'loose cannon police detective' die 24 uur krijgt om een zaak op te lossen en een crimineel netwerk op te rollen.
Hoewel ze het spel neerzetten als coöperatieve online of split-screen titel is het ook alleen te spelen, waarbij je tactische planning af moet wisselen met snelle reacties. De ontwikkelaar omschrijft hun game zelf als volgt:

Rico verschijnt 'spoedig' op de PC, Xbox One en PlayStation 4.
