Met Guitar Hero heeft het concern Activision-Blizzard een populaire muziekfranchise, in 2009 wil men de franchise uitbreiden met DJ Hero. In de game speel je met een draaitafel waarmee je kunt scratchen en sample knoppen kunt indrukken. De game verschijnt eind deze maand op de PS2, de PS3, de Xbox 360 en de Wii.
Activision onthulde vandaag de Trophies van de PlayStation 3 versie van DJ Hero. De game bevat één platinum, twee gouden, zeven zilveren en 42 bronzen Trophies.
