Met Space Invaders Infinity Gene lanceerde Taito vorig jaar een iPhone versie van de Space Invaders franchise, en nu komt de game ook naar het PSN en de Xbox Live Arcade. De game is een verticale shooter met een schuin 3D aanzicht in de stijl van Raystorm, waarbij het spel een evolutie van de gameplay van de originele Space Invaders is.
In de Xbox Live Arcade versie kun je natuurlijk Achievements verdienen. De game bevat twaalf Achievements welke samen 200 punten waard zijn.
