Met Plants vs. Zombies ontwikkelde PopCap Games een nieuwe en uitermate verslavende game voor de iPad, de Nintendo DS, de iPhone, de iPod Touch, de Xbox Live Arcade en de PC welke nu naar de PlayStation Vita komt. In Plants vs. Zombies gebruikt de speler verschillende types planten om een leger zombies te stoppen.
Op de PlayStation 3 bevatte de game een twaalftal Trophies, maar op de Vita kunnen we een volledige set verdienen. De game bevat er namelijk 43 waaronder een Platinum Trophy.
