IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey verscheen redelijk onverwacht, maar wist op Gamed een zeer goede score van 83 te halen. Tijd dus voor een sequel?
Nee dus! Oleg Maddox, oprichter van ontwikkelaar Maddox Games geeft aan dat ze niet aan een sequel werken, maar dat dit zeker niet wil zeggen dat ze het flight-genre achterwege zullen laten. Ze werken nu namelijk aan een titel die draait om de slag van Engeland die gedurende de Tweede Wereldoorlog (om precies te zijn in 1940) plaats vond.
