Later deze week vinden de testdagen van de Formule 1 plaats in Bahrein en krijgen we een klein voorproefje van de krachtmetingen. Heb jij het idee dat je het beter kan? Dan is er goed nieuws, ontwikkelaar Frontier Developments kondigt namelijk F1 Manager 2022 aan.
Door een samenwerking met de Formule 1 beschikt Frontier Development over de volledige licentie zodat alle teams en coureurs aanwezig zijn. Door één van deze teams te kiezen is het je doel om de seizoensdoelen te behalen en de langetermijndoelen na te streven.
Om hierin te slagen zul je tussen de races door alles in de gaten moeten houden, denk aan de prestaties van je team, je coureurs, de financiën en het scouten van medewerkers. Je auto vormt natuurlijk een integraal onderdeel van je plannen, zo kun je aangeven waar je engineers zich op moeten richten, rekening houdend met de circuits die eraan zitten te komen. Als eenmaal de lichten uit gaan moet je de strategie bepalen en reageren op dynamische situaties, zoals bijvoorbeeld veranderende weersomstandigheden.
F1 Manager moet in de zomer worden uitgebracht op de Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 en PC.

Dus eigenlijk splitsen ze de recente spellen in twee. F1 als coureur en F1 als manager.
Ben benieuwd hoe dit als volledige game gaat vormgeven want alleen management lijkt me namelijk niet echt wat. In F1 2020/2021 kon je naast de baas zijn ook de coureur zijn. Dat maakte het nog divers en leuk.
