Op 7 december worden Awards uitgereikt in diverse gaming categorieën. Meer dan honderd mediapublicaties en influencers mochten hun stem uitbrengen voor een voorselectie, waar uiteindelijk de winnaars uit gekozen zullenw orden.
Het is nu aan ieder van ons om te bepalen wie de uiteindelijke winnaars zullen worden. Het uitbrengen van een stem is mogelijk via de officiële website of via Discord.
The Game Awards worden uitgezonden vanaf het Peacock Theater in Los Angeles en naast de awards maken we traditiegetrouw kennis met nieuwe games. Ook is er muzikale ondersteuning van The Game Awards Orchestra onder leiding van Lorne Balfe.
